Computational thinking digital literacy based new computing curriculum, running at 3 of their schools as a pilot project. FOCUS is providing teacher training and continuous support to the program. We hope to scale up to 50 schools next year. TCF has 1400 schools all over the country.
Our computing curriculum has been implemented at 30 schools across Pakistan reaching 3000 students. With the help of FOCUS, students are learning algorithm, computational thinking and problem solving as early as grade six.
In an effort to increase engagement of female students with computer science. we have partnered with Zindagi Trust to implement our curriculum at two all girls schools in Karachi.
With the support of our donors we have set up a new computer and multimedia lab to teach and train their residents with modern tools. We have also engaged and trained teachers for the organization.
